Nationa Park, Taman Negara

This place is near to my hometown. Dont forget to call me if you go there. I can get better rate for you. My friend work there. National Park or "Taman Negara" is located in Jerantut Pahang, Malaysia. Its a heritage rainforest in Malaysia. All the activities such as wild life viewing, camping, boating, hiking, rock climbing, jungle tracking, fishing, etc can be done here.

this can be done by jungle tracking or partially by boat. you can choose the best activities for you while in Taman Negara.

 #1 - Canopy walk – this is the longest suspension bridge in the world. its about 510m long and 45m from the ground level.The ticket only MYR5 for adult and MYR3 for children

#2 - Bukit Teresek – go jungle tracking here!! its about 334M height hill at Gunung Tahan. approximate 1.7km will take about 30 minutes to 40 minute to reach the peak. green world view here.

#3 -  Gua Telinga (Ear cave) – exploring the cave in Taman Negara. This cave is a limestone cave. various bats, snake and other wildlife there. Fot those who love adventure activities, stay here for one night. its a good experience for you. to take you there is about 2.6km 

#4 - Lata Berkoh – Take a cruise along lata berkoh, riverside view of untouchable flora and fauna there. take a change to snorkel there. fishing is allowed at certain area. you need to remember that this is a protected area of rainforest. it about 8.5km

Oh, this is the best place to stay. This is the fantastic place for a diver. i really love this place. it such a heaven to me. Yes!! im in paradise. Rated to be 3 start. But some might say it extreme expensive. its about. Its a part of Mabul Island. you can book Sipadan Water Village while arriving at Tawau airport. For earlier booking please find the Sipadan Water Village Sdn Bhd on the website.

Also known as world best "muck diving" place. its such a paradise to all diver all around the world.
Dive center is there. There are about 17 dive site at Mabul Island. You can experience the underworld view at Sipadan Water village.

Many of the tourist around the world will return to this Sipadan Water Village. This is the perfect getaway. some of the tourist might wanna stay in Sipadan Water village forever. For me, is just a slice of paradise in this world. There are a diver from Australia will do their return trip very sooner.

1. How to go to Sipadan Island?

The location of Sipadan Island is in Sabah,Malaysia. More specific is in Kota Kinabalu. If you take a flight from Kuala Lumpur, the arrive locition should be Tawau,Sabah. For the international tourist, they should transit at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and take the flight to Tawau. 

When reached at Tawau airport, take a local transportation to Semporna. Approximate travel time from Tawau to Semporna is about 1 hour. Normally, local or international tourist minivan to travel from Tawau to Semporna. 

Speed boat will drive you from the Semporna jetty directly to Sipadan Island. travel time is about 20 - 30 minutes.

Top Place to Visit in Langkawi

when your first touch down to Langkawi Island. There are many top place to visit in Langkawi. I tried to list several place that i love to visit while in Langkawi.

#1 - Dataran Lang at Kuah
Also known as Eagle Square. Go there when new year celebration. tourist and people around there gather to do countdown and see the firework. the big eagle there is man made. The man made eagle there is an attraction of giant sculpture. Here also have very nice view of Kuah bay.

 

#2 - Cable car and sky bridge
 The cable car will take us to the top of mountain Mat Cincang. its take about 20minute to reach up there. When there is strong wind. your cable car will stop for a while for safety precaution. after reach at the top, you will see the very nice view of Langkawi Island. everything is green. Now walk your self about 10-15 minute to go to the sky bridge. walk there and you will get new experience. I love the view. Lot of tourist go there. This place is very famous in Langkawi.

#3 - Mahsuri Tomb at Padang Maksirat
Princess Mahsuri is a legendary in Langkawi Island. She is the bigger history in Langkawi Island. If you go visit Mahsuri Tomb. you will get some information regarding the Princess Mahsuri and the curse for 7 generation of bad luck to Langkawi Island. At there, the old house of Princess Mahsuri and other old malay house. If you are lucky, you arrival will celebrated wil "Gamelan Group". a group of musician that play heritage Malay music instrument.

 #4 - Minyak Gamat or cucumber oil
dont miss out to get your cucumber oil in Langkawi. its famous among Malaysian for skin lesions. AT there you will see the process of making cucumber oil. Its take long hour to boil the sea cucumber before produce the oil. Others product of sea cucumber is there.

#5 - Pantai Cenang or Cenang Beach
tourist love to stay here. there are many Hotel at Pantai Cenang. this is the best place to rest your mind after one day trip. night at pantai cenang will be amazing.

Lankawi Island Malaysia

Langkawi is situated in Kedah. To go there, you can choose either using Flight or Ferry. For me, ferry is the best transportation. Langkawi Ferry have 2 jetty, one is in Kuala Kedah and the other one is in Kuala Perlis. Kuala Kedah to Langkawi Island take longer journey compared to Kuala Perlis jetty. 

the operation time for Langkawi ferry is between 7.00 am to 7.00 pm. 

The fare from Kuala Perlis to Langkawi Island for adults is about RM18 and children RM13 for one way trip. If you choose to travel from Kuala Kedah, the fare is about RM23 for adults and RM17 for children. Langkawi Island is tax-free island. Malaysian love this place. Langkawi Island is nice place for family trip, couple trip and also for group trip.

Dont worry about the Hotel. there are lot of hotel in Langkawi. My last time trip, i was stayed at Hotel Bahagia Langkawi. Hotel Bahagia Langkawi situated in Pekan Kuah. Quite value for your money. For standard room at Hotel Bahagia, is only cost about RM57 nett. I totally recommended for short stay. 

Another best hotel is Sea View Hotel Langkawi. An average hotel. Sea View Hotel Langkawi is also in Pekan Kuah. Its also the value place to stay. 

The best part in Pekan Kuah is you can buy chocolate at low price. this is because the free duty. Lot of Malaysian love chocolate. I you wanna stay at the chocolate area, i recommended Baron Hotel Langkawi. You can walk to buy chocolate.
